Building Nations Initiative (BNI) in partnership with Oyo State Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Oyo State Agency for Youth Development invites youth workers and youth work organisations in Oyo State to a Public Symposium on Youth Work/ Youth Work Fair.
The Symposium is organized as a platform for creative engagement of respective stakeholders that work with young people in Oyo State, towards inspiring collaboration, effective coordination and institutionalization of youth work practice in the state.
Keynote Speaker:
Hon. Seun Fakorede: Honourable Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Oyo State.
Special Guest of Honour:
Prof. Oluwatoyin Odeku: Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan, and Chairperson, Presidential Committee on Control of Codeine (PCCC)
Plenary Speakers:
Hon. Ayo Obe: Former Speaker, The Nigerian Youth Parliament
Dr. Isaac Olatoye: Associate Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan
Muyiwa Kotila: South West Regional Director, One African Child Foundation.
Raphael Stephen: Executive Director, FAME Initiative.
Plenary Moderator:
Pharm. John Oluwadero: President/CEO, BNI, and Fellow, Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, University of Cape Town.
The Symposium shall afford youth workers the opportunity to learn, network, and facilitate effective partnership for positive youth development outcomes in the State through strategic youth work practice. Represented youth work organisations shall be mobilized into pioneering advocacy on education and training of youth workers, through youth work policy.

Available slots: 60.
Participation at the symposium is FREE, however registration is required. Participation is either through individual nomination (e.g. freelance youth workers, volunteers, school teachers etc), or through Organisation nomination.
